Lakh bains
Lakh Bains, the founder of Ag Land RE, was raised in the agricultural heartland of Yuba City, California. Coming from a family with a heritage of farmers that trace back generations to Punjab’s fertile lands, Lakh began learning the value of hard work and the rhythms of the land from his father in 1979. By the age of eight, he was already driving a tractor, immersing himself in the day-to-day responsibilities of farming life. This early experience, paired with his parents’ love for entrepreneurship and real estate investing, paved the way for his future endeavors.
With a formal education in Real Estate and Finance, Lakh combined his deep agricultural roots with expertise in lending, real estate sales, and business development. Over the past 30 years, he has built a reputation as a trusted advisor, specializing in dirt-to-turnkey orchard operations, large acreage properties, and complex deals involving conservation easements, wetland mitigation, creative financing, and lease options.
